Asibikaashi is an American native deity who takes care of the children and the people on the land. The Dream Catcher is a talisman that emulates that deity, because she couldn't reach all the children so a symbol of her was hanged over the cradles. Contrary to the common belief, the Dream Catcher is nothing about dreams.
